I was all set...

I was all set to bless everyone with yet another picture that screams 'oh you poor, poor woman' but I am changing my mind...for now anyhow. Instead I was to share with you something that I think is simply amazing (besides Spanx).

I present to you, sidewalk 3D art by Julian Beever and Kurt Wenner.

This is just ONE example. A quick link for you to peek even further can be found here: http://www.impactlab.com/2006/03/09/amazing-3d-sidewalk-art-photos/ but if you do a search you can find tons more. I have never seen this sort of stuff before so it totally blows my mind. They do a large assortment of different pics and then are just absolutely stunning. (Check out the Coke bottle on the link above)

I will most likely be back in a bit to post my winning image of the day compliments of Moo the middle child!

If it's not one, it's another...

So the 'powder incident' room as we like to refer to it, has been restored to it's previous condition. Reporter confirms that there were no casualties. (GO DADDY!)

Despite all the "things" happening in Toronto due to the G20 summit, I am going to avoid commenting on the subject. Why? It is ridiculously a no win situation. I voiced a QUESTION avec twitter yesterday, MY twitter yesterday, and some random ignorant person decided that I was wrong and told me to get a clue basically. I find that interesting considering she was sitting behind a computer screen chanting on the violence basically from what I could tell, and going from twitter account to twitter account bashing anyone who even remotely was not her immediate clone. Sooooo I leave it at that. I'm not a promoter of violence, however I don't mind the occasional UFC bashing, they are consenting adults and DAMN some of those men are hot (GO GSP...and Franklin...and Bisbing...and...err you get the idea!).

Wow you can tell I haven't had my morning intake of caffeine just yet, I have absolutely NO idea where I was going with this blog already LOL. I think this is a welcome to my life epiphany sequence.

However I will post another photo, as I have many, of the SMH (shake my head) moments happening on a consistent basis in my home.

The one that I'm choosing today is more of a initial panic of where is my blackberry (YES I practically sleep with it -- welcome to the business world of work at home mommas), and then my 4 yr old going surprise momma, here it is. I asked her what she was doing, and she said 'trying to wake him up for school'.

When will *I* learn?

Alright so as if yesterday wasn't enough of a downer for me (let's not get on the weight subject again), I was thrilled when I was able to bath 2 of 3 children (thanks mum for taking 1 for the night) and have them all ready to go for when daddy got home.

Score: Mum - 1, Kids - 0

I sat in my room taking nice deep breaths, lounging out on my nice big bed, the other 2 giggling and playing...*insert tire screaching right about....HERE*

Just as I pulled a gymnastics move off my bed (Team Canada would of been proud), around the corner comes 1 child, white as a ghost.

I stop, drop (my mouth) and have the worst brain-fart moment ever. I had forgotten to take the baby powder with me when I left the room.

*SIGH*....*sigh*

This ladies and gentlemen, is a lesson to be viewed, embedded into your head, and to NEVER be repeated.

I present "Why you should NEVER leave children - even a 4 year old - alone with anything ever, even in her own room!"
Score - Mum - 1, Kids - 2 (they get the extra point for a mess that I had to clean up....ok daddy did! :) )

Dove Movement time!

Hello followers...

I just signed on to the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem vision, because every girl should grow up with the self-esteem she needs to reach her full potential, and every woman should feel confident about her own unique beauty. Will YOU join me? http://www.dovemovement.com/vision.

There are so many actions we can take to inspire and mentor the girls in our lives, and each other, too -- like sending a word of encouragement (if you are reading this, YOU ROCK) or supporting self-esteem education in our towns, cities and our homes. Our movement is building a world where every woman and girl reaches her full potential. Join us.

Thanks ;)

AHEM....

Wow it's amazing what having 3 kids all ages 6 and under can do to a person working from home! :)

I promise to be back with more goodies soon. It's time to start the blogging process over again (as if I don't say that enough).
